TYRA BANKS on a POSITIVE NOTE!
Needless to say, I also got some really heart warming letters from some viewers.
Here's what some of the lovely children had to say:

I was saddened, angry and disgusted to learn that you were viciously and brutally attacked by a group of ignorant punks. I am thankful that this senseless attack hasn't dimmed your light and made you disappear. You're clearly a beautiful, loving spirit. I saw you on Tyra Banks show today. You were FABULOUS! I LOVED your song "Strut." I got up and danced and applauded you. There isn't any major reason I'm sending this email, I simply wanted you to know that you are truly a gift and a blessing in this universe. I feel your spirit very much. You're wonderful. Keep doing what you do.You are a class act. I'm so happy that you have recovered from that crime. God loves you and so do I.

I truely know nothing about you and what you do and never heard of you till today when i watched my recording of the Tyra show. When you spoke of your pain and that horrific thing that happened to you i couldn't beleive my ears.(not that i dont beleive things like that happen, grew up around the stories my entire life) But your strength and ability to speak aloud about it pulled at my heart and i was awed by your power to really say how you feel. Most of all i just wanted to send an e-mail and say that your courage and strength i found really touching and en-powering. and to stay so calm while that woman and her daughters spoke im just awed.(because i know i would have lost it, and rage would have been climbing down to their level.)
So i send my heart to you that you will be able to find a very strong strength in what has happened to you and what you have been through. remeber God will never throw more at you then you can handle. he does it to send you a message and show you that you have an inner strength so you can send out the message for people who can't find the words. Thank you for the enlightenment.

Kevin,
I know you don't know me, but I just felt compelled to write to you and tell you that I am sorry to hear what has happened to you with the hate crime against you. I sat watching the Tyra Banks show, as I always do, and found myself in tears that people need to hate anyone so much as to hurt or kill them. You are a very beautiful man, and I am glad to see you survived that brutal attack. I am a single mother of two young girls and I always have done my best to teach them that everyone has the right to be who they TRULY are and to not judge them for the fact that they may be different than what a lot of people in this world thinks should be normal. I don't think anyone in this world is "normal" I don't believe in that word. I just wish people would stop passing on the hate trait. Children learn from the actions of the people who they love, so if the adults show hate and don't teach differently then this will never stop. I commend you for being who you are, and I wish you all the very best.
Sincerely,
Cori Ann Hornbeck
This is just only a few that I am sharing with you, but only if we can get the rest of America or for that matter the World to think and behave like this, we as people in general would be in a much better place.
This was alot to take in, and it only makes me stonger. I am back bigger than ever, and they will never take my spirit away.
